Paris hosts three American Red Cross Blood Drives each year. Our job was to check patients in and out of the blood drive. When they came in, we would scan their donor card or enter them into the system. We then gave them an informational packet about donating blood, and told the staff that the donor had arrived. When donors finish we offer snacks and drinks and thank them for their donation.

I & I is an initiation ceremony for JMG students held at the beginning of each school year. This year we had a speech competition between three JMG Students, JMG Program Manager, Jim Benjamin, Great Falls Mayor, Bob Kelly, and Paris Gibson Principal, Mr. Uecker. (Shown on the right)

4 U 42 is a campaign for a student at CMR High School who passed away last summer in a cliff jumping accident. JMG contributed by creating a design with our Lynx Grafix program, and then screen printing them onto T-shirts and selling them to support the campaign. Money will be used for a scholarship in the student's honor.

Each year JMG students partner with a local Kiwanis club to supply a holiday party to students at Skyline Preschool. We read to the young children while they wait for a turn on Santa's lap. Each child receives a gift from Santa.

To help raise the awareness of those who are living without a home, JMG students created a World Homeless Day design and printed it on shirts. Shirts were sold and profits were donated to the Great Falls Public Schools Foundation.

Personalities play a role in each of our interactions and how well we work together. As a result, we spend time learning about our own personality and behaviors along with the make-up of our class as a whole. There are lots of light bulb moments when we discover our Myers Briggs results.

Through our financial literacy program, Paris Gibson and Embark Federal Credit Union work closely together. Embark staff decided to hold a costume contest at work and asked JMG students to judge the contest. We were happy to participate as we love a little healthy competition.

Paris houses a program called Life Skills. Special needs students (ages 19-21) attend the program to develop their independent living skills. Many of the Life Skills students are Special Olympic Athletes and JMG works hard to celebrate those athletes through events such as poster making, locker decoration, respect rallies and more.

We often volunteer to wrap gift at the Rescue Mission. We are assigned a family and get to "shop" for each person in that family. After shopping we package, wrap, bow, and tag the gifts. We have so much fun with this event each year.
